North Sea Sustainable Waste Management Project - "Making Waste Work"
Making Waste Work is a 3-year project which runs until June 2006 and involves partners
from five countries around the North Sea working together to develop better ways to
manage waste, change public attitudes and create jobs within small businesses working
in the waste industry.
The project has a budget of EUR 1.7m (approximately GBP 1.2m) - a European grant under
the Interreg Programme covers 50% of the costs with the remainder being met by the
project partners.
